Blood vessel model

Our products are suitable for the trainings of resection, anastomosis, stent insertion to aneurysms etc. Quite different from traditional rubber and silicon models, our products are made from PVA (polyvinyl alcohol). They are moderate hydrophilic, rich flexible and therefor very similar to human body. You can experience realistic procedure practice through our various types of models.

  • Blood vessel model for anastomosis training (1-layer model)
    Blood vessel model 1-layer type, for anastomosis training

    This is specially processed to raise the moisture content, therefor very near to human body.
    Outer dia. 0.5mm/0.7mm/1.0mm/1.5mm/2.0mm/3.0mm/4.0mm/10mm
    Length : 50mm for outer dia. 0.5mm/0.7mm and 60mm for other types

    Blood vessel model with artificial plaque

    Artificial plaque is attached inside. Plaque can be detached by dissector. Inserting intravenous shunt and suturing  hemashield patch can be also performed. This is suitable for CEA and high-flow bypass training.

    Blood vessel model pressure resistant type

    Thick-wall type. Simulated blood can be poured into. This is suitable for IVUS (intravenous ultrasound sonography), catheter and stent practices. Artificial plaque type is also available.

    This is specially processed to raise the moisture content. Adventitia is attached to “Blood vessel model 1-layer type”. Detaching adventitia and pinching by forceps can be experienced just like as the genuine.

    Blood vessel kit for anastomosis training
    This kit enables you to practice blood vessel manipulation in realistic by working on specialized sheets. You can check the suturing condition by flushing blood-like fluid with an injection. This kit can be also used with the separately sold blood vessel for anastomosis training.

    Petri dish with a special brain surface sheet for practicing anastomosis. You can experience more realistic practice. It can also be used by neurosurgeons as a vascular base for the anastomosis training kit (sold separately).
